Minor grape varieties represented only in repository or old plots could achieve this goal by 1) answering to the market demand for discovery wines generating high added value or 2) bringing complexity to \u201cgeneric\u201d wines after blending. The VALOVITIS project involving three public partners and many associated wineries will identify exhaustively thanks to a participatory approach the grapevine genetic resources of the POCTEFA territories and assess the sanitary status of endangered varieties while ensuring their safeguard thanks to the introduction in existing repositories and the establishment of vinyards of studies.
